This article explains how to view your leave information and submit a leave request in Xemplo, where applicable.
Leave processes can vary depending on your role, contract, and location. If leave is available for your role, it will appear in Xemplo.
Accessing the leave section
From your Xemplo dashboard:
Select Leave from the left-hand menu
You’ll be taken to the Leave Requests page
This page shows:
past leave requests
upcoming leave
the status of each request
Viewing your leave balance
If leave balances apply to your role, you can view them by clicking the 'Leave Balance' button in the top-right corner of the screen.
This opens a side panel showing your most up-to-date balance information.
If you don’t see a leave balance, it may mean leave isn’t tracked in Xemplo for your role.
Request leave
To submit a leave request:
Click the blue 'Request Leave' button
Complete the required fields
Submit the request once finished
Once submitted:
the request is sent to your manager for approval
you’ll receive an email notification once it’s approved or updated
You don’t need to follow up unless you’re asked to.

Leave availability and approval processes vary by role and client
Not all workers will see the same leave options
Requests must be approved before leave is confirmed
If something doesn’t look right or you’re unsure whether leave applies to you, you can submit a support request at any time.
