This article explains how to update or cancel a leave request after it has been submitted in Xemplo.
What you can do depends on the status of the leave request.
Editing a submitted leave request
If your leave request has been submitted but not yet approved, you can still make changes.
To edit a submitted leave request:
Go to the 'Leave' tab (left hand panel)
Locate the relevant leave request
Click the options menu ( … ) next to the relevant request
Select 'Edit'
Update the details as needed
Click 'Update' to save your changes
Cancelling a submitted leave request
If a leave request is still in Submitted status and no longer needed, you can cancel it.
To cancel a submitted leave request:
Open the options menu ( … ) next to the request
Select 'Delete'
Cancelling an approved leave request
If your leave request has already been approved, you can still cancel it.
To do this:
Go to the History tab in the Leave section
Open the approved leave request
In the Request Leave pop-up window, select 'Delete request'
Helpful to know
Editing or cancelling leave may notify your manager
Once cancelled, a request cannot be restored
Approval rules and visibility may vary by role or client
If you’re unsure whether a change has gone through, you can submit a support request at any time.
